<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240412/20240412191325.jpg" width="1200" height="900" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />ある資料で黒磯公園の開設時期はS31年とあったので黒磯公園の<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%BD%A5%E1%A5%A4%A5%E8%A5%B7%A5%CE">ソメイヨシノ</a>もそれなりの樹齢なのだろうけど、樹勢が衰えている印象はない。同じ資料で、烏ヶ森公園はＳ41年開設とあるけど、<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A339%C7%AF">明治39年</a>には臨時列車が企画されるほど桜の名所として有名なスポットだった。自転車レースとか行われてたんだよね。</p>

<p><a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B1%F6%B8%B6%C4%AE">塩原町</a>役場跡、現在は<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B1%F6%B8%B6%B2%B9%C0%F4">塩原温泉</a>交流広場、あるいは市営<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B1%F6%B8%B6%B2%B9%C0%F4">塩原温泉</a>駐車場と呼ばれている場所の北西側の山際に、大きな<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%A8%A5%C9">エド</a>ヒガンが立っている。実美桜（さねとみざくら）と呼ばれるこの桜は、<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A317%C7%AF">明治17年</a>（1884）塩原街道開通式に来賓として<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B1%F6%B8%B6%B2%B9%C0%F4">塩原温泉</a>にやってきた<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%BB%B0%BE%F2%BC%C2%C8%FE">三条実美</a>（さんじょうさねとみ）によって記念植樹されたものだ。<br /><br /></p>
<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240412/20240412135511.jpg" width="1200" height="900" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />実美桜は140年近い樹齢となり空洞化が進行、樹幹にキノコが生えているほか、以前より花の数も減少しているという。2021年の樹勢調査では、<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CA%DD%C1%B4">保全</a>に最低でも約150万円、樹木の周辺環境の整備も含めると約500万円を要するとの試算結果となった。<br /><br /></p>
<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240412/20240412135550.jpg" width="1200" height="900" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />2023年、実美桜を中心に地域の活性化を図る「さねとみ桜と歩む会」が発足。<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%BC%AB%BC%A3">自治</a>会や<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B4%D1%B8%F7%B6%A8%B2%F1">観光協会</a>、住民の協力を得て樹勢が衰えつつある実美桜の<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CA%DD%C1%B4">保全</a>や周辺の環境整備に取り組んでいる。<br /><br /></p>

<p>小学生以来だろうか、塩原の木の葉化石園に行ってきた。<br /><br />箒川の支流、精進川（シラン沢川）の鶴沢と呼ばれる場所に木の葉石化石園がある。<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C8%AC%C8%A8%B6%B6">八幡橋</a>を渡ると丘の上にみえた「コノハ石」の看板があったのが懐かしい。鶴沢左崖の露頭は木の葉石が出ることで古くから知られており、化石園は産出される貴重な化石を集めて<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A338%C7%AF">明治38年</a>（1905）に開園した。かつては温泉街から観光客が遊覧馬車（トテ馬車）で、あるいは人力車で来訪したらしい。<br /><br /></p>

<p><a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%BE%BC%CF%C215%C7%AF">昭和15年</a>ごろの木の葉化石園 現在の駐車場から券売所の脇を通って精進川（シラン沢川）の橋を渡るところ。現在は園内の樹木が大きくなってこの位置からは丘陵の露頭が見えない。</p>
<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240310/20240310210323.jpg" width="834" height="554" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />ちなみに観光史跡としての「源三窟（源三位穴）」開業は<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A343%C7%AF">明治43年</a>だから木の葉石が塩原の見どころとして名を馳せていたことがわかる。あの「煤煙事件」が<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A341%C7%AF">明治41年</a>、そして塩原軌道開通が明治45年だ。</p>

<p>木の葉石と呼ばれる化石が出る塩原湖成層は、高原山の塩原<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%AB%A5%EB%A5%C7%A5%E9">カルデラ</a>内に出来た東西約6km、南北3kmの三日月型の塩原化石湖（古塩原湖）の湖底に堆積した堆積物の地層だ。時代としては第四期<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B9%B9%BF%B7%C0%A4">更新世</a>中期（一説には約30万年前）頃らしい。木の葉化石が有名だが、魚や昆虫、ネズミなどの化石も発見されている。今年の１月にも新種の<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B3%A5%AC%A5%CD%A5%E0%A5%B7">コガネムシ</a>の化石が見つかったというニュースも記憶に新しい。塩原産の化石植物群についての最初の学術的研究は、<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CC%C0%BC%A321%C7%AF">明治21年</a>(1888)<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B9%A5%A6%A5%A7%A1%BC%A5%C7%A5%F3">スウェーデン</a>の地質学・古植物学者のA.G.ナト<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%DB%A5%EB%A5%B9%A5%C8">ホルスト</a>の報告書だそう。</p>

<p>以前に訪れた<a href="https://garitune.hatenablog.jp/entry/2012/03/27/005131" target="_blank">金沢の大黒岩化石床</a>の化石は、中塩原の木の葉石が堆積する以前、新<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C2%E8%BB%B0%B5%AA">第三紀</a>中新世のもので、鹿股沢、不動沢、塩原ダム<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B2%BC%CE%AE">下流</a>付近、下戸倉沢、野沢などで海生の貝類、ウニ、魚類などの化石が産出しており「塩原型動物群」と呼ばれている。木の葉石化石園では塩原地方で産出する新<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C2%E8%BB%B0%B5%AA">第三紀</a>層と第四紀層（塩原湖成層）の化石に加えて、国内外の化石標本、鉱物・鉱石標本などが展示されている。</p>
<p>迫力の塩原化石湖模型も見ごたえがあるが、昭和の趣を感じる案内板や内装、什器もたまらない。</p>

<p>「古山・中塩原の民俗」（S56）栃木県郷土資料館 には三峯信仰についての記述はなかったが、馬産の盛んな地域であったこと、狩猟民俗に関する記述もあり、育成する馬や農耕馬を守る三峯信仰が盛んになりそうな地域ではある。<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C8%AC%C8%A8%B6%B6">八幡橋</a>を渡ったところに残る「遠い昔の民俗をしのぶ 塩原 民俗 史料 民具館」という朽ちかけた看板は、「中塩原の民俗」の調査で観光資源の価値があることに気付いた民間か公共が資料館をやっていた名残なのだろうか。<br /><br />中塩原の三峯信仰に関してなにか分かり次第こちらで更新したい。<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p>

<p>県北の花市サーキットの大トリ、黒羽の花市にやってきた。今日１月28日は金丸地区の畔野焼きの日らしく、黒羽に向かう<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C5%C5%BC%D6%C6%BB">電車道</a>跡はもうもうと立ち昇る煙で真っ白だった。<br /><br /></p>
<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240128/20240128100621.jpg" width="1200" height="900" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />花市は黒羽向町の旧<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B1%D8%C1%B0%C4%CC">駅前通</a>り、リオンドール前から<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B9%F1%C6%BB294%B9%E6%C0%FE">国道294号線</a>までの間で行われている。かつては那珂橋西Ｔ字路から黒羽向町Ｔ字路で折れて東野バスターミナル(黒羽郵便局向かい）のところまでの大規模なものだったらしい。<br /><br /></p>

<p>ポスターの「福引景品山の如し」のキャッチコピーに心動かされ皆で福引を引いた。この年季の入った福引箱に釘付け！川西町花市と記されており、<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%CE%D3%B6%C8">林業</a>で栄えた黒羽だから、もしかしたら川向こうの田町側にも別に花市がたっていたのかもしれないな。<br /><br /></p>

<p>今年は黒磯が<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B0%AD%C5%B7%B8%F5">悪天候</a>で中止になったのは残念だったけど、大田原、西<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C6%E1%BF%DC">那須</a>野、佐久山、黒羽とたくさん花市に行けて嬉しかった。今年もいっぱいお祭りに出掛けるぞ！</p>

<p>１月１４日は<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%BE%AE%C0%B5%B7%EE">小正月</a>の日曜ということで各地で<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A4%C9%A4%F3%A4%C9%BE%C6%A4%AD">どんど焼き</a>が行われるものと思い、休みをとった。<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%C2%C0%C9%D7">太夫</a>塚の<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A4%C9%A4%F3%A4%C9%BE%C6%A4%AD">どんど焼き</a>はいつもの会場となっていた場所が宅地となってしまい、開催できる場所を探していると聞いていたが、どこでおこなわれるか分からずじまいだった。結局開催を断念せざるをえなかったのだろう。<br /><br /></p>
<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240114/20240114110242.jpg" width="1200" height="801" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />佐久山の花市を観に行った帰り、加治屋でも<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A4%C9%A4%F3%A4%C9%BE%C6%A4%AD">どんど焼き</a>を行なっているという情報を頂いてトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>をさがしてみた。加治屋から親園に抜ける道沿いの田園地帯でトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>を発見した。<br /><br /><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240114/20240114110349.jpg" width="1200" height="801" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />遠くからでもわかるかなりの大きさの骨組みだ。声をかけ、撮影と点火を見学させて頂くことに承諾をいただいた。<br /><br /></p>

<p><img src="https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/g/gari2/20240114/20240114141148.jpg" width="1200" height="900" loading="lazy" title="" class="hatena-fotolife" itemprop="image" /><br />ほかのトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>や初市を観に行って戻ってきた。角錐の頂点まで藁で覆われるのかと思ったらこれで完成形とのこと。穴倉になっているわけではなく中は伐採した枝葉や竹などがみっしりと積まれている。当然燃やす正月飾りや縁起物は上に積むかんじだ。<br /><br /></p>

<p>富池<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%B2%B9%C0%F4%BF%C0%BC%D2">温泉神社</a>の坂下に車を停めて畦道を歩いてトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>に近づいていくと、ちょうど作業をしている方の軽トラが近づいてきた。</p>

<p>富池ではここ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%BD%AE%BB%B3">舟山</a>地区以外にも吉際、寺方などで<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A4%C9%A4%F3%A4%C9%BE%C6%A4%AD">どんど焼き</a>を例年行なっているという話を伺った。また個別にトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>を作って<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A4%C9%A4%F3%A4%C9%BE%C6%A4%AD">どんど焼き</a>行事を行う農家さんもあるらしい。<br /><br /><br />とりあえず他のトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>を探しに行く。<br /><br /></p>

<p>寺内のマツモト<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%BB%A5%A4%A5%B3%A1%BC">セイコー</a>さんの向かいの田んぼに小さなトリ<a class="keyword" href="https://d.hatena.ne.jp/keyword/%A5%B4%A5%E4">ゴヤ</a>を発見。<br /><br /></p>
